In the first race of the 2020 season, Elfyn makes a bold statement of intent with a third place finish in his very first outing with TOYOYA GAZOO Racing at the always challenging Rallye Monte Carlo.
In fact, Elfyn held the lead for much of the event before finally having to settle for a well-earned podium just 1.7 seconds behind team mate Sébastien Ogier and only 14.3 seconds behind eventual winner Thierry Neuville.
Given that this is the first time that Elfyn has driven anything other than an M-Sport Fiesta in his WRC career, this was an outstanding result and bodes well for the rest of the season as Elfyn settles into the team even more.
